410 Vehicles Have Undergone Emission Test in Jakarta

They all have passed emission tests

Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency has noted that as many as 410 vehicles have undergone emission test on December 1-22.

Jakarta LH Agency Acting Head Syarifudin said, 56 out of 410 vehicles were four-wheeled vehicles and 52 were two-wheeled vehicles (December 1), 15 were four-wheeled vehicles (December 3), 33 were four-wheeled vehicles and 33 were two-wheeled vehicles (December 8).

Then 85 were four-wheeled vehicles (December 16), 14 were four-wheeled vehicles and 13 were two-wheeled vehicles (December 17), and 129 were four-wheeled vehicles and 65 were two-wheeled vehicles (December 22).

"They all have passed emission tests," he told, Wednesday (12/23).

He asserted, if vehicle owners were absent, they would be sanctioned in the form of the highest parking rates at parking area facilities in Jakarta. It was stated in the Gubernatorial Regulation number 66/2020 on Motor Vehicle Exhaust Emissions Testing.

"And law enforcement will be done on the streets by the Police and Transportation Agency, referring to UULLAJ number 22/2009, Article 285 and 286. But we're still socializing this policy and have not been implemented," he stated.
